  • 1970-1973: education as an architectural draftsman, further education as construction technician, vocational baccalaureate diploma
  • 1973-1977 architecture studies in a record time of 8 terms (Fachhochschule Karlsruhe), overall grade: 1.0 (graduate engineer)
  • since 1978: freelance architect with buildings completed in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Australia
  • 1998: the first passive house completed 1998
  • 2000: Joined the ARCHITOS and founding member of ARCHITOS Germany
  • since 2005: all projects of his office in passive house quality
  • 2007: first certified passive house planner in Baden-Württemberg
  • since 2007: occupation as consultant in the training of passive house planners
  • 2008: Foundation of Pro Passivhaus e.V. (PPH)
